Another decade in the books

So, I’m 30 years-old today. My 20’s were quite busy… graduated college, moved to Indiana, started/stopped law school, got married, launched a marketing career (marketing!? who would have thought), had a kid, started/finished my MBA, moved to North Carolina… and a lot of other stuff I’m sure I have either forgotten or wish I had.

In terms of celebration, it is just me and the dog today, working from home and enjoying a day full of back-to-back conference calls. Anne and Jonah are off vacationing with her family in Emerald Isle (Outerbanks). Luckily, I’m joining them tomorrow. I should back up, though, on the festivities… last Saturday we had a big cook-out at our house with all of Anne’s family as a combination birthday party / we gotta eat and we’re in NC so Jordan and Anne are feeding us event.

In the end, I don’t feel any older than yesterday. That’s the thing about aging… it is gradual and sneaks up on you slowly… just like my receding hair line.
