The Graduation 411
So it’s official. I am now a newly minted Notre Dame MBA, ready to take on the world. Or so we’ve been charged. At this exact moment, I’m more likely to take a nap, than take on corporate America. Afterall, I have five weeks before I start work at IBM.
So how will I be spending these five precious weeks? First up is a cruise to the Bahamas with my lovely and talented wife. We call it our “end of school / retirement” vacation, as her last day of working for someone other than our children is this Friday. (By the way, we’re expecting baby #2 in Octorber.) When we get back from the trip, the movers arrive to pack up all our stuff and move it to our new home in North Carolina.
I guess I should describe our new house and the process of selling our current home, but I think I’ll use that as fodder for future entries. I would promise that I will update more often, but seeing as though it was Christmas and there was tons of snow on the ground the last time I wrote, I know you wouldn’t believe me any how. And on that note, I leave you to go eat some left over cake from my graduation party. Cheers.
