The summer’s rolling along
Where does the time go? It’s hard to believe that it has been more than a month since my last entry. The internship is going well and I’m learning a lot. I’m doing work in digital media, as well as engaging our global sales team to find out how we can make their job easier. I also get to work with good people, including the other interns in the marketing leadership development program. (I’m the guy in the front row on the right, with the receding hairline — ugh.)
Being in the New York area has its perks, too. I watched Smarty Jones lose the Belmont Stakes (if that is a perk), and went to round 3 of the US Open. But even with the cool job and day trips, it stinks being away from Anne and Jonah. I am heading back for a week over the July 4th holiday, and I can’t wait.
